Equipment Specification

For any caterer interested in purchasing a grease trap, ensuring the unit is correctly sized is of paramount importance. While an undersized grease trap will be incapable of doing its job, and will simply allow excess fat, oil and grease to pass through into the drainage system, an oversized grease trap will cost more to buy and install, and may lead to more expensive maintenance and call out costs.

When specifying grease removal equipment, RGR Facilities not only determine the volume of waste water flowing through the various appliances on site, but also include other factors such as frequency of use, volume of waste food, purpose and impact of interaction with other appliances to ensure that the unit(s) specified are the most appropriate for the task at hand.
